Joseph McCarthy, a Suffolk University professor for over thirty years, discusses his career at Suffolk and how the school, the student body, and the city of Boston have changed over time. A professor in the Department of History and the Department of Education and Human Services, McCarthy describes his personal educational background, how he came to work at Suffolk, and his thoughts on higher education in general.
