The Beacon, first published in 1948, is the undergraduate yearbook of Suffolk University. It documents different aspects of student life on campus such as photographs of graduating seniors, clubs, sports, events and candids. In earlier issues it also contained photographs of the faculty and administration of the university. The Beacon was published in a combined volume with Lex (Suffolk University Law School's yearbook) in 1950, 1952, 1953, 1960 and 1961. Alternate titles for the yearbook include the Guiding Light and the Pulse (2009-2010). It ceased publication in 2013.
