Description
This video was created and presented to the Suffolk alumni community by University Records Manager Michael Dello Iacono during "Suffolk Spring Week" in 2021, as part of a series of events announcing the establishment of the Coach Nelson Club. The presentation was created using photos, records, memorabilia, and recordings from the Moakley Archive and Institute collections, and presented remotely to the Suffolk community during the coronavirus pandemic. It gives an overview of the founding and early years of growth, major university milestones, notable staff and faculty members, student accomplishments, and information about the physical campus and facilities related to Suffolk University's Athletics programs. The presentation covers 1906-2020 and includes and short Q&A with Coach James Nelson, and brief remarks by Assistant Coach William Feldman and Suffolk Class of 2004 graduate, former Suffolk Rams Women’s Volleyball player and member of the College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Association Board Krystle M. Ongaco at the end.
