Abstract

The future of transactional law and skills education undoubtedly includes technology. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the use of technology not only in academia, but for many practitioners as well. In order to better prepare students for practice, law schools must integrate technology in the transactional classroom.

This paper discusses how technology, including artificial intelligence, document generation, and cloud computing, impacts transactional practices. In addition, this paper offers concrete steps that professors can take to integrate transactional-specific legal technology into the classroom.
