Abstract

Studies have shown that students are more likely to retain information and achieve a higher level of thinking if professors incorporate a variety of teaching methods that respect the various ways that students absorb information. In an effort to acknowledge and validate the learning styles of all students, the author developed online Research Diagnostics to supplement the legal research curriculum. This article describes the Research Diagnostics and discusses the benefits of using the Research Diagnostics to assist in teaching legal research skills.
