Description

This recording includes two interviews with members of Congress that were broadcast on WILD and WCOP as episodes of a radio show featuring Congressman Moakley in the 1970s. Moakley interviews Representative Charles Diggs, chairman of the House District Committee, about the governance of Washington, D.C., also known as the District of Columbia, including the proposed Home Rule Bill which would change D.C.'s level of representation at the federal level and aspects of its local governance.
